Hey Girl: 02

Chap 2 (new school)

Everything seems so surreal. The next thing I knew, I was sitting in my brother’s new silver Porsche Boxster that appa bought for him a month ago to Seoul. Today, I am officially a college student. I was super excited.

“Are we there yet?” I asked.

“Gosh, that’s the tenth time you asked. Another word from you again, I’ll drop you off. Stop whining, will you?” he shouted feeling annoyed.

I gave a pout and muttered, “I was just asking.” Then, I looked out of the window.

“Jiyul-ah.” He called my name when he noticed the silence.

“hmmm..” I answered him short, still looking outside the window.

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s ok”

“Jiyul-ah. You’re making me feel bad.”

Haha. That’s what you get for shouting at me.

“I’m really sorry” he released his left hand grip from the steering wheel and place it on my right hand which was on my lap.

I turned to face him. He looked at me. I stuck out my tongue and look back to the front. He smiled.

“So you’re not mad at me after all.” He took his left hand and held on back to the steering wheel.

I looked out and saw a huge building standing right in front of me.

“It’s beautiful. ” I said happily.

“Yeah. It is.” he said as he parked his car in the empty space he found earlier.

I got out of the car and was surprised to see girls sneering at me.

‘This isn’t what I expected.’ I thought.

He took my hand and brought me to the registration office. I couldn’t help but notice girls giving me cold stares and whispering amongst themselves. Not until I heard, “Is that his girlfriend? Oh my god, she’s so lucky!” I finally understood the reason to why they were staring in the first place. I giggled.

“What?’ my brother asked staring at me.

“I never knew you have fans in campus, Jaejoong oppa. You never told me how popular you are here?” I nudged him, laughing.

He pinched my left cheek, “And why should I be telling you all this?”

“Oww! Oppa! That hurts” I hit his arm then rubbed my red cheeks.

When we reach the office,

“Alright then, I’ll leave you here. I have to prepare for my performance later. I’ll meet you after school. Anything, call me ok?” He said. I nodded.

When he was out of sight, I looked around to find unfamiliar faces. I felt small and afraid. In the midst of all these strangers, I accidentally bumped into someone.

“Oh Mianhe.” I apologized and then froze. A tall boy was smiling at me. I have never seen a boy that tall in my entire life before.

“Yah! Changmin. You scare her,” the person standing beside the tall boy said.

“No I didn’t. I didn’t scare you, did I?”

“Uh. Err. No. Mianhe.” I walked a few steps away, leaving them.

“Yah Junsu hyung. Am I that scary?”

“A little. Eu Kyang Kyang”

“Yah!”

They are weird. I shook my head when i overheard their conversation.

“Kim Jiyul!” i was startled when i heard my name being called.

“Neh”

“Alright since everyone is here already. We shall proceed.”

When everything was settled, all the freshmen were brought into the auditorium. The auditorium was jam-packed with college students.

‘Why do I feel so restless?’ I thought.

Hey Girl: 01

Chap 1 (enrolment)

Two hours before,

“Umma! Appa! Oppa!” I screamed at the top of lungs, holding on to a piece of paper and waving it frantically, while running around the house into the living room.

“What happened? What are you screaming like a mad woman?” my father bellowed putting down the newspaper he had been reading for the past hour.

“Yes dear. What’s all this screaming about?” my mother came in to the living room carrying a cup of coffee in her hand for my father.

“YAH! WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU! JUST WHEN AN IDEA STRUCK ME, YOU HAD TO SCREAM. I’VE BEEN WORKING ON THIS MUSIC PIECE ALL DAY!!” my brother came downstairs, grumbling.

I laughed and hid behind the sofa my parents were sitting on.

“Where is she!? All that screaming better be for good or else I’ll wring her neck.” He continued to grumble when he stepped into the living room.

“Come out dear. Tell us what happened?” my mother pulled me from behind the sofa.

I smiled and sat beside my frowning brother. I opened the paper held in my hand and read the contents out loud.

“You’ve made it! My dear Jiyul is going to Seoul Institute of the Arts!” my mother said, tears rolling down her cheeks. I nodded with glee.

“Congratulations. I’m so proud of you.” my father added.

“Appa, stop that. Oh! I’m gonna miss you both.” I got up from the sofa and hugged my parents.

“Great! Now, that you’re in my school, I’ll be watching you!” pointing his finger at me, my brother patted my head.

“Oppa!” I pouted.

He laughed, “Alright, alright. I was just joking. Do you think I have that much free time to baby-sit you?”

“Anyway, where is she gonna stay?” he asked.

“What do you mean by where she’s staying? With you, of course. She can’t be staying here, in Chungnam, right?” My father replied.

“What! Appa! I’m living with 2 other GUY friends. We can’t have a girl in our house.” My brother said, defensive.

“Selfish.” I muttered under my breath. He glared at me.

“You wouldn’t want your sister to stay all alone in Seoul, right Jaejoong? I could sell off that house and make all of you stay in your school dorms.” My father said.

“Arasseo. Arasseo. I’ll talk to the guys. She better not give us problems.” He said giving me that look, got up from the sofa and went back up to his room.

“HAHA!! Very funny, oppa.” I shouted and went back to my room to pack my things.

#

“Oppa, can I come in?” I said.

“Yea, come in. The door’s not lock.” I stepped into his room and sat at the side of this bed.

“What is it, Jiyul?” he turned his chair to face me.

“I was just wondering. Are they nice?”

“What? Who?”

“Your friends. I mean your housemates.”

“You’ll know as soon as you meet them. You better get to bed now. Tomorrow’s gonna be a long day.”

I dragged my feet out of his room feeling dejected with his answer.

Hey Girl: Prologue

Date start: 10 oct 1007.
Date End: i have no idea.
Title: Hey girl.

Prologue

People who say that there is no such thing as an everlasting love are those who don't even have that kind of confidence in them. Have you ever experience the kind of love that's like a movie where you long and wait for just one person endlessly? Many people get tired of waiting and say that true love doesn't exist but that is a lie. I have a love, which I always long for. And that love...

Is you.

#

Immediately, he grabbed his phone on his desk and flipped it open. He scrolled down his contact list and pressed the green button. He breathed deeply before he heard the person on the other line picked up the call.

“Yobuseyo.”

“Neh, It’s me. Listen and don’t say a word until im done talking.” He breathes in again and started to tell.

After a few minutes,

“Seriously, hyung?! I’m on! She can definitely stay. Besides, we needed a change. I was kind of getting sick of you two, anyway.” the person on the other line laughed.

“Yah, Yoochun! You better watch your mouth! Good enough I’m letting you stay in that house. Okay, now that's settled. I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye.”

He ended the call. Next, he dialed Yunho’s number. It’s funny how he can actually remember Yunho’s number and not Yoochun’s when in fact both guys were his closest friends; housemates.

After a few rings, Yunho finally picked up his phone. He told Yunho the exact same news that he told Yoochun earlier but this time the reaction he got was different. A reaction he least anticipated.

“WHAT! ARE YOU CRAZY? WE CAN’T HAVE A GIRL LIVING WITH US! ”

“Come on Yunho. Be rational. We have more than enough rooms to cater in that big house. Moreover, that house is mine in the first place. She has to stay whether you like it or not. My dad made a pact that I can only keep the house, if she stays. Or else all of us will have to go back to those creepy dorms in school.”

“Ya Ya Whatever. Just make sure she doesn’t bug me. Does Yoochun know about this?”

“Yea, I told him. Don’t worry about her bugging you. You won’t even notice she’s there. Ok, I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye.”

He ended the call and put his phone back on his desk. He sighed.

“Oppa, can I come in?” I said.

“Yea, come in. The door’s not lock.”
